Licensed Professional Counselor
National Certified Counselor
Have you ever sought counseling and when asked what you were coming for you realized you had no idea how to even begin? When life goes sideways it is easy to feel lost, and I work with people to find their footing and move through the chaos to find purpose again. Regardless of age, we each try to find the resilience within us to address the inevitable life changes. Loss of all kinds gives us an invitation to understand life differently as we are faced with changes poised to challenge the very meaning of what we knew life to be.
We do not quit playing because we grow old. We grow old because we quit playing. Oliver Wendell Holmes
Whether you are an adolescent or someone in your golden years, I would welcome an opportunity to walk alongside you to help you gain clarity and peace. Given the current climate in our culture, to find places to feel safe and welcomed in a community is an added challenge. Our goal together would be to find ways to connect within yourself to uncover what is a helpful fit for you in relationships with others.
My knowledge includes over 20 years of working with group experiences and experiential therapies in a variety of clinical settings. I have presented locally and nationally on grief and loss. My continued education involves life’s lessons offered each day I choose to be present to the moment. Nature and God’s universe are my guides. I continue to be reminded of the magnificent presence of God in everything and every moment I put my faith in Him as He companions with me and witnesses my life story.
