Brenton Place, MA, LPC, NCC
Licensed Professional Counselor
If you’re ready to make changes in your life but aren’t sure where to start, you are in the right place. My clients often come to me in transition: launching into college or career, getting married, or starting a family. I have walked alongside my clients on the journey to gain clarity and find unseen emotional, philosophical, and spiritual obstacles that interfere in finding deeper purpose. It would be my honor to work with you to tailor your counseling in such a way that honors your preferences and strengths.
As a male therapist, I offer a unique understanding of issues that are specific to men, although I work with both men and women and have a special interest in helping clients to develop more fulfilling and functioning relationships. While conflict will always exist in relationships, it is easy to resort to fighting, scapegoating, shaming, and blaming when we feel unheard, inadequate, or helpless. I specialize in helping clients to develop emotional awareness and teach essential interpersonal communication skills to equip them to find greater intimacy and fulfillment in a wide variety of relationships.
Brenton works with adults only and is available on Mondays and Wednesdays (alternating weeks between in person and telehealth) and on Tuesdays in person. He is cash only (can use Health Savings Account, etc.); no superbills provided.
