Amy Santus, LMSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
My goal as a clinician is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for you to explore feelings, thoughts, and beliefs about yourself and your world. As a trauma specialist, I look to identify past experiences that may have altered your beliefs about yourself and others. The therapeutic approaches I utilize are unique to each client. Common modalities include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Strengths Based Therapy.
The areas of grief and loss are close to my heart. Through my own personal story of grief with infertility and miscarriages, I hope to provide for others a healing space. The world is overwhelmed with messages and pressure to outperform and overextend ourselves which can lead to crippling depression and anxiety. My goal is to identify with you these areas in your life and establish routines and practices that bring back balance and joy.
I am a passionate advocate for removing the stigma in seeking mental health treatment and I like to emphasize a mind and body approach to overall wellness.
