What is TICA?
Treeside Institute for Clinical Advancement (TICA) is an organization dedicated to helping professionals access innovative trainings and groups designed to increase competence and effectiveness as a clinician.
History of TICA
TICA began when a group of therapists came together to improve their clinical skills. The therapists began to travel all over the country obtaining advanced treatment skills, from the most highly recommended and researched trainings. For over 13 years, this group has been training each other and obtaining further advancement from other professionals in the field. We love learning together. Therefore, we began offering the opportunity to other professionals in a small setting. We believe a small setting allows you the time to practice the skills being discussed. Then, we took the training a little farther to include CEU’s for counselors and social workers. We now offer Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced courses for groups no larger than 12, at our Treeside location in Lake Orion.
Today, we have grown to offer cosponsorship for your training program or event and provide your attendees with CEU’s.
TICA is an NBCC Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP) and may offer NBCC approved clock hours for events that meet NBCC requirements. ACEP is solely responsible for all aspects of the program.
